Marker Strips for Allen-Bradley Terminal Blocks
Allen-Bradley 1492 series terminal blocks are common on panels built to North American practice and in Rockwell-specified plant. Their marker cards are sized to the block, so the pitch of the block is again what decides the fit.
Marking Tag Wala manufactures terminal block markers in fourteen sizes, blank or printed. Where the pitch matches your Allen-Bradley block, the strip fits. Match the pitch below and order the corresponding model.

Find your block spacing
Measure the centre-to-centre distance between two adjacent terminals, or read the pitch off the block datasheet or your existing marker. The model on that row is the one to order.

We publish part-number cross-references for Connectwell, Elmex, Phoenix Contact, Salzer and Schneider on the compatibility chart. For Allen-Bradley, match by pitch above, or send us the block photograph or part number and we will confirm the right model before you order.
What you are ordering
Both ranges share the same construction. Allen-Bradley 1492 series terminal block marker cards sit in the same duty — a marking carrier that has to survive the life of the panel.

Two ways to buy
Blank markers
Supplied unmarked for you to label on site, by hand or with a thermal transfer printer. Useful when marking changes late or a panel is commissioned in stages.
Printed markers
Supplied with your marking already applied and sequenced. Faster on a large panel, and it takes handwriting out of the finished job. Horizontal or vertical, 1 to 4 characters.
Frequently asked
Do your marker strips fit Allen-Bradley terminal blocks?
Our markers are compatible with Allen-Bradley blocks where the pitch matches. Pitch is the centre-to-centre distance between adjacent tags, and it is what decides whether a strip latches across a full row. Find your block pitch in the table above and order the matching model — or send us a photo of the block on WhatsApp and we will identify it.
What is pitch and why does it decide compatibility?
Pitch is the spacing between one tag and the next along the strip. It has to match the terminal block spacing exactly. If it does not, the strip bows and will not seat across a row, however close the tag size looks.
Can I get markers for Allen-Bradley blocks printed?
Yes. Send your marking list and we supply the strips printed and sequenced — numbers, letters or symbols, 1 to 4 characters, horizontal or vertical. Blank strips are also available if you print on site.
What if I only know the part number of my current marker?
Send it to us. We hold published cross-references for Connectwell, Elmex, Phoenix Contact, Salzer and Schneider parts, and we can identify a Allen-Bradley equivalent by pitch and tag size from a photo or a datasheet.
