Terminal Block Markers
Terminal block markers — also sold as a marker strip, terminal marker strip, terminal block label, connector marker or simply a marker for terminal blocks — make circuit identification in a terminal block assembly quick and unambiguous. Each strip latches directly onto the block, giving a large, high-contrast marking surface that stays legible for the life of the panel, so fault-finding and maintenance on individual components is faster and safer.
Fourteen sizes across two ranges, supplied blank or printed. Printing can be horizontal or vertical, in 1 to 4 characters — numbers, letters, symbols or any combination you specify. Pre-printed terminal block marker cards are checked and sequenced against your list before dispatch.
CK series — six sizes for 2.5U to 70U blocks

DIN rail terminal markers for control panels
Modular terminal blocks mount on DIN rail, and a panel of any size carries enough of them that identification stops being optional. These modular terminal block tags clip to the block itself rather than to the wire, so the identification stays with the terminal when a conductor is replaced — which is the difference between a labelled panel and one that was labelled once.
DIN rail terminal markers, connector markers and electrical terminal identification strips are the same product under different names; what matters is that the pitch matches the block. Terminal contacts on the block itself are not marked directly — the strip carries the marking. Terminal blocks labels marking tags is the phrase you will see on some catalogues for exactly this item.
Typical use is control cabinets, distribution boards, switchgear, machine panels and process skids. For identifying the conductor rather than the terminal, see ourcontrol panel wire markers.
Which size do I need?
Match the marker to the terminal block width, not the wire size. A 2.5 sq mm terminal block is a 2.5U block and takes a CK5. If you are unsure, send us a photo of the terminal block on WhatsApp and we will identify it for you.
Terminal block markers, answered
What is a terminal block marker?
A marker strip that clips onto a terminal block to identify the circuit at that terminal. It is also called a marker strip, terminal marker or terminal block label. Because it fixes to the block rather than the conductor, the identification stays correct when a wire is replaced.
What is the difference between blank and printed markers?
Blank markers are supplied unmarked for you to label on site with a marker pen or a thermal transfer printer. Printed markers arrive with your marking already applied and sequenced, which is faster on a large panel and removes handwriting from the finished job.
Can markers be printed horizontally or vertically?
Both. Horizontal printing reads along the strip and suits short marks like L1 or 24. Vertical printing turns each character to read up the tag, which fits more characters into a narrow block. Tell us which you need with your marking list.
Do these fit DIN rail terminal blocks?
Yes. Modular terminal blocks mount on DIN rail, and both the CK and EKN ranges are dimensioned for them. Match the marker to the block width class, not to the rail.
How many characters fit on one tag?
One to four characters, depending on the model and whether printing is horizontal or vertical. Each product page lists the text field size in millimetres so you can check a specific marking before ordering.
What is the minimum order quantity?
We manufacture in Ahmedabad and supply from stock in packet quantities, so small orders and sample quantities are both possible. Send the model and quantity on WhatsApp for a price, usually within one working day.
